I want a 2008 Dodge Challenger

I don’t think I’ve ever posted about this (haven’t really posted about much at all), but the original Dodge Challenger has been my dream car for years and years. One of my uncles restores classic cars, and one day when I was 15 or so his family came to visit. They rolled into the driveway in a “Sublime” green Challenger and I can’t even begin to describe how impressed with it I was. It was perfectly restored, the chrome was shining, and I was in love. I’ve wanted one ever since.
I’m a huge fan of muscle cars (especially Mopar muscle). The Challenger is my favorite, though. There’s just something about it. I love the body line, and it’s stance. It looks as thought it’s about to “pounce”. Just plain badass.

You may have heard that they’re going to start making it again in 2008. I’ve been on the mailing list, and I just got an e-mail with the subject “Order Your 2008 Challenger SRT8 Now”. It’s official – they’re coming! Dealerships are now taking orders for a limited edition SRT8 that will be shipping sometime in the spring. Of course I don’t forsee being able to afford one anytime soon, and will probably sob pathetically each time I pass one on the road. But I’m still pretty darn excited! Maybe once I’ve saved up enough money, they’ll have started making it in green- that’s it, I’ll just say I’m holding out for that lol. The orange is pretty sweet too, though… And the black….. I’ll take three!!!!
